Goran Dragić si je z nekaj sreče utrl pot na All-Star tekmo in postal sploh prvi Slovenec, ki bo dobil priložnost na tekmi vseh zvezd.
Dragiću so kot edinemu predstavniku moštva Miami Heat ob tej priložnosti čestitali reprezentančni kolegi, nekdanji in aktualni soigralci ter nekatera druga zveneča imena evropske in svetovne košarke.
Večina uporabnikov družbenih omrežij je Dragićevo udeležbo na All-Star vikendu pozdravila z velikim navdušenjem, našlo pa se je tudi nekaj takšnih, ki bi na tekmi raje videli bodisi Bena Simmonsa (Philadelphia 76ers) bodisi Kembo Walkerja (Charlotte Hornets).
"Skrajni čas," je Dragićev trenutek pospremil bosanski center pri Portland Trail Blazers Jusuf Nurkić. Čestitke so zvezdniku Miamija izrekli še njegov brat Zoran, Klemen Prepelič, Edo Murić in Beno Udrih. "Zelo sem vesel zate. Zasluženo," je zapisal slednji.
Izbor komisarja Adama Silverja pa ni zadovoljil vseh. "Mi lahko kdo pojasni, kako je Dragić dobil prednost pred Benom Simmonsom?" je zapisal nek uporabnik, drugi pa je dodal: "All-Star tekme, izbor ali rezultat mi ne bodo kratili spanca, a Dragić pred Kembo je zločin lige NBA."

I’ll never lose sleep over the ASG, the selection process, or the results of any of it. But Dragic over Kemba should be an NBA crime in ‘17-18. Kemba has 5.8 NETRTG when on court. Dragic is -3.7. That’s a difference of 9.5. Wow. #BuzzCity
